I canโt believe it took me this long to finally read My Funny Demon Valentine!
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The whole concept of escaping Hell and Ashโs theory on Demons evolving? So fun. So clever.
I absolutely adored Ashโmy awkward, shy, cinnamon roll-ish Prince of Hell. I donโt know what it says about me that I was instantly enamored with a Demon, but here we are. Watching Ash learn to identify and understand his emotions was genuinely endearing, and his instant connection with Eva? Chefโs kiss. The chemistry between those two was ๐ฅ
Needless to say, I hadnโt even finished MFDV before I ordered book 2… and 3… and 4 (I donโt have a problem ๐
). I want to read every single Demonโs love story, but right now Iโm especially looking forward to Mephโs.
I sort of love him ๐ฅน
Also, I am beyond interested in Belial’s book. Heโs the brother Iโm most curious about (leave it to me to be obsessed with the male character carrying the most baggage ๐).
The only thing that bummed me out a bit was not knowing if Evaโs parents reconcile. I hated leaving Jacqui heartbroken and alone, with no idea where Dan is or if/when Eva and Jacqui will see him again. Yes, Poppa G. messed up big time, but I still felt for him.
If youโre looking for a quick, fun, and super enjoyable read, I definitely recommend grabbing a copy of My Funny Demon Valentine.
