I had so much fun putting together my Halloween-themed book recs that I figured—why not do Christmas too? And that, my friends, is how I found myself just days before the fat man’s visit having wandered through more fictional small towns, saved more tree farms, and encountered more creative uses of holiday paraphernalia than any one person reasonably should in the span of twenty-some short days. 😅

But the sacrifice was worth it—for my fellow indoor cats who plan to spend the 24th and 25th curled up, nose-deep in a book. This list is a curated selection—not every holiday book I read this season—but it’s the ones that stood out the most. If you’re looking to keep the festive vibes rolling through the end of the year, one of these holiday reads should do the trick.
