I can’t stress how much fun I had reading this! I’m a mood reader and the first chapter felt slow, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to engage in the story. But then you throw Rorick and Quiet together and everything else falls into place.

The banter and relationship between these two was just #ChefsKiss.
I’m not embarrassed to say it, I caught feeling for Rorick (how could I not?)

I also fell in love with Gilbert and I’ll never forgive @S.L. Prater for chapter 17 (though chapter 14 / 15 preemptively makes up for some of the emotional damage 😏)
