Today is finally the day that “A Promise of Peridot”, Kate Golden’s second novel in her Scared Stone series, is released.

Obviously I had to reread “A Dawn of Onyx” to prepare.

I leave you with my short but chaotic book review:

“For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t care if you were dangerous.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“You’re much too alluring. I’d just have to take my chances, and if you killed me, well, it would be a good death.”

“I wouldn’t say you’re exactly my type”

“Firstly, you may call me Kane. King Ravenwood is a little formal from someone whom I’ve made blush as many times as you”

“Who did that to you” he said in a low tone I could barely hear.

“I love to listen to you explain medicinal practices.”

“And I’d love to listen to you fall off a cliff”

“You love this woman?”

“More than anything.”
