😍ARC Review😍
‘‘So how do you get used to it? This feeling that you’re just a little too much for the place you’re in?”
“It’s too small you mean.”
“What?”
“Watch out who you’re blaming, you’re not too much. The place is too small. Very different problem, very different solution”
Getting to be part of Lisette’s Street Team for QoMaF has been – by far – the highlight of my year so far 🤩
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌶️🌶️🌶️
If you haven’t read the Fae Isle series yet run, don’t walk, and get started right now. Lisette’s ability to balance just the right amount of banter and vulnerability in her characters is one of the many things that make this one of my top 5 favorite fantasy series.
And QoMaF did not disappoint on that count.
✨What I loved✨
❤️(Well deserved) HEA x 2
💙Found Family AND Reunited Family
💛Sassy tiny hawks
❤️Creon. Just Creon… all of him.
💙Agenor’s attempts at parenting (I mean, at least he tries 😅)
💛Em finally, finally standing up for herself
❤️The final battle
💙Infatuated daemons with no empathy
💛Five-star banter (as always)

❤️
💙
💛
✨What made me absolutely FERAL✨
❤️
💙
💛
❤️ Tared and Em’s entire interaction in the sparing ring 😭🥹
“What in the world does blood have to do with anything, exactly?”

💙Allie
“Don’t you dare call my daughter a fae whore ever again, you fucking swine“

Screaming, crying, throwing up
As a sidebar, Alyra couldn’t have been clearer, I don’t know how Em didn’t connect the dots immediately 🙄
💛 Creon getting the last word
“Sorry Mother, I’m afraid you’ve rather served your purpose”

I am UNWELL (in the best way)
❤️ 💙💛In conclusion this was the perfect ending to Em and Creon’s story, I have zero complaints. It’s bittersweet to know there won’t be any more Cactus banter, but I’m excited to see who else’s story in the Fae Isles we get to experience next!❤️ 💙💛
